Mysuru district is marching towards becoming coronavirus-free district as no corona cases have been reported in the last six days.
Two more coronavirus patients were discharged from the hospital after complete recovery. 11 patients are being treated in isolation wards. People of Mysuru have heaved a sigh of relief as the number of cases is gradually reducing in the city. As the government has eased lockdown, construction activities and other industrial activities have begun. But the lockdown has continued in major parts of the city. It is expected that the city might come out of the red zone tag in a few days.
Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) and the police department have given several instructions to the public to avoid the spread of coronavirus. District administration hopes that the district will be corona-free if people follow the instructions properly.
